Major Structure Overhaul Coming


After receiving early feedback from the first demo of Postal Knights, I've decided to make a major change to the game as I continue forward in development. Originally a open-world style game, I will be going through the process of making Postal Knights a level based game instead.

Why? 

1. Open world was never a core feature needed for Postal Knights, and is not integral to the game I want to make. 

2. If anything, its less like the game I want to make, because with so much going on, the player gets distracted from what I want them to do, or just misses things entirely

3. I've had some issues developing certain parts of the game (such as a day-night cycle, item management, and story progression), but these problems become irrelevant if the game isn't open world.

4. It makes it easier for me to develop. Plus I can spend more time on the parts that matter, rather than extra things just to flesh out the open world.

I removed the demo for a short time while I added some extra direction into the game, but know that the current demo will be greatly different from the next one. Looking forward to this new format for the game, and hope you all will enjoy it when it comes out.
